Indication:
ZILXI® (minocycline topical foam) is a prescription medication used to treat inflammatory bumps and pimples caused by rosacea in adults.

Important Patient Information:
ZILXI® is for external use only and should not be applied in the mouth, eyes, or on broken skin. Do not use ZILXI if you are allergic to tetracycline antibiotics. The foam is flammable, so you should avoid smoking, open flames, or heat immediately after applying it. Because it can increase sensitivity to sunlight, it’s important to use sunscreen and avoid tanning beds. ZILXI® is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Be sure to inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking before starting ZILXI.

Possible Side Effects:
The most common side effects include diarrhea and mild skin reactions like burning, itching, redness, or dryness. Rare but serious side effects may include severe headaches, vision changes, liver issues, allergic reactions, and increased sun sensitivity. If you experience any of these serious symptoms, stop using the medication and contact your healthcare provider right away.
